The Choicer Voicer
A party game “all about doing vocal impressions in various fun game formats”, by the developer YeahMaybe on itch.io, rated 4.6 from 210 ratings there. It is not on Steam: in an itch.io thread from August 4, 2026, the developer said they aren’t comfortable putting it on Steam yet. Many searches for “choicer voicer steam” end up on Mimic Party’s store page for that reason. Unofficial “play Choicer Voicer free online” sites exist too — the real one is the itch.io page.
Choose Mimic Party if you want a scored competition with sabotage and Steam Workshop sound packs. Choose The Choicer Voicer if you want dubbing and impressions of scenes rather than copying sounds.
Animic (same studio)
FoliesApp’s first voice game, released on Steam on January 9, 2026 for $4.99. It’s a monster battle royale where “your voice is the weapon”: you pick a word or shout for each monster attack and yell it to cast. It has online co-op and PvP. It shares Mimic Party’s voice-first idea but plays nothing alike. There’s even a community “Animic - Monsters” sound pack in Mimic Party’s Workshop.
Mimics and older sound apps
Before 2026, “mimic” party games were phone apps: Mimics (2017) has you copy faces with your camera, and MIMIC The Sound Party Game (Android, announced by its developer on r/AndroidGaming years before Mimic Party) had you imitate sound effects.
